    Funny, I had a therapeutic massage yesterday that was pretty painful at times and she said to relax by breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth and I knew exactly what she was talking about! Also used today when D refused to leave school during a hangry episode!

      Love this!! (Well not the hangry kid part – LOL). Proper breathing really helps in so many situations!!

    This type of breaking is the best. I do this a lot in hot yoga too and it does help you self regulate.

      100 percent! And the more we practice, the easier it is to recall it when we really need it!

    Great exercise. I like the belly breathing and box breaking. Breaking really does make a difference.

    Curious – are you using it preventatively or “in the moment?” Or both? 🙂
